Our Pastor

Bro. Dan Tribuzio accepted the call to be our Pastor here at Calvary in November 2020. Pastor Tribuzio was saved in April 2005 at Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church after the Holy Ghost showed him of his sin and his great need of a Saviour. Shortly after being called to preach the Gospel, Bro. Dan felt the call of God on his life to be a missionary to the people of Australia. The Tribuzio's were privileged to have spent a few years on the mission field, largely based out of Sydney, Australia as well as on the South Coast of Australia. Bro. Tribuzio was trained in the ministry by 2 fantastic pastors, Pastor Travis Alltop and Pastor Tommy Morrow, as well as through the many ministries of the local church. Pastor Tribuzio is also in the process of completing his Bachelor of Divinity through The Bible Doctrine Institute in Jacksonville, Fl under the leadership of Dr. David Peacock. Pastor Tribuzio resides in Clinton, Indiana with his beautiful wife Candy, along with their 2 younger children, Bailey and Cody. Pastor Tribuzio and Mrs. Candy also have 2 older children, and one beautiful granddaughter Paityn Skye.

Our Beliefs

  • The Trinity

He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This is known as the Godhead in scripture. Gen. 1:1-3; 1 Tim. 3:16; Acts 5:3-5; 1 John 5:7.

  • SCRIPTURE

We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is found perfectly preserved today in the Authorized Version King James Bible. This Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Psalm 12:6-7; 2 Timothy 3:16

  • JESUS CHRIST

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be God manifest in the flesh, virgin born, without sin, crucified, risen and coming in the clouds for his church and soon after coming back to earth to establish his kingdom. 1 Tim. 3:16; Matt. 1:18-25; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; John 14:1-6; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Luke 1:31-33; Revelation 11:15; 19:11-16

  • MAN

We believe all men are sinners and that sin and death entered this world through the first man, Adam. Genesis 3; Romans 3:10-23; 5:12.

  • Salvation

We believe salvation is available by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world.

  • Baptism

We believe water baptism is by immersion after a genuine profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is representative of a death, burial and resurrection and is administered to believers only. Acts 8:36-38; 10:47-48

  • Eternal Security

We believe the born again child of God is eternally secure in Christ and is baptized, indwelt, regenerated, comforted and sealed by the Holy Ghost until the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:12-13; 4:30; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 12:13; John 14:16-17, 26; Titus 3:5; Philippians 1:6; Romans 8:38-39

  • Signs & Gifts

We believe the signs of an apostle (tongues, miracles, gift of healing, etc.) were given in the early church to confirm the word to Israel. With Israel having been temporarily set aside and the completion of the New Testament scriptures, the sign gifts are not currently in use. Today, these signs are often counterfeited by false teachers and will be used by the coming antichrist to deceive the world. Mark 16:17-20; 1 Corinthians 1:22; 14:22; 2 Corinthians 12:12; 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12; Revelation 2:2

  • Eternity - Hell

We believe in a literal, burning, hell as described plainly in the Bible. Luke 16:19-31; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 20:11-15

  • Eternity - Heaven

We believe in a literal, paradise known as heaven where the saints of all ages reside with God. John 14:1-3; 2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Revelation 21:1-5

  • Witnessing

    We believe it is a Christian’s responsibility to witness and proclaim the gospel of the grace of God to the world through personal and public testimony, gospel tracts and support of local and foreign missions. Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20;

  • Dispensation

We believe the scriptures are to be rightly divided; therefore, we are dispensationalists. While all scripture is profitable, there are divinely ordered dispensations which must be notated through prayerful and careful Bible study in order to avoid doctrinal heresy. We are not hyper-dispensational, which is a heresy of its own. 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16-17

  • Holy Lifestyle

We believe Christians are to be holy and separate from the world in thought, word, deed and dress. This is not legalism, but rather an outward testimony of the inward change brought about by the Lord Jesus Christ. Simply stated, our lights are to shine in a dark world. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17; Titus 2:1-10

  • INDEPENDENCE (AS A CHURCH)

We are independent. This means our local assembly is self-governing and is not connected to a denominational headquarters or convention. The Pastor is the overseer and church leadership is to be male. 1 Peter 5:1-4; 1 Timothy 3:1-14; Acts 6:1-6; Hebrews 13:7, 17
